HFHS ANNOUNCES ITS FIRST “BONSPIEL FOR A BUILD”
2010 CURLING TOURNAMENT
HFHS is excited to announce the selection our next fundraising event for our 5th Home Build Project in Sudbury. We are welcomed for this event by the Sudbury Curling Club. This will be a fun filled day of curling followed by a dinner reception. Proceeds from this event will be used to assist with the funding of our 5th build on Sudbury for the Delaire Family. Teams can sign up by contacting HFHS at 705-670-4002.
We invite members of the media to assist in the promotion of this event through all channels available.

CITY SAVES THE DAY FOR HFHS AND ITS 5TH BUILD FAMILY PARTNER- GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY IS BACK ON
Friday, November 13th 2009- HFHS is excited to announce that with the help of the Hon. Mayor John Rodriguez, Councilor J. Landry-Altmann and the entire City Council, our 5th Build project is back in motion with a new lot and plenty of excitement. We are anxious to begin our build with our family partners the Delaire family.
We invite local dignitaries to join our organization, it’s sponsors and dignitaries for our 2009 Build Groundbreaking ceremony and in support of a local family in need of a Hand Up.

HFHS ANNOUNCES ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH SIMONS GALLERY GRILL FOR A VERY SPECIAL BASKET AUCTION AND DINNER EVENT
HFHS is excited to announce the selection our next fundraising event for our 5th Home Build Project in Sudbury. Simon’s Gallery Grill will be hosting our 1st Basket Auction and Dinner Event on Wednesday December 2nd. This event will feature a three course meal, live music, and plenty of fantastic baskets to bid on. Proceeds from this event will be used to assist with the funding of our 5th build on Sudbury for the Dealire Family. Tickets are available by contacting HFHS at 705-669-0624.

Faith Relations Information Brunch
Saturday, November 7th, 2009- Sudbury area church leaders will gather to be informed of the missions and mandates of Habitat for Humanity Sudbury District. Guest Speakers include Rita , the mother of the family partner from a previous build about what this has meant for her & her family. As well, there will be an up-to-date report on the family selected from the upcoming build. Members of the Board of Directors will be present for a question and answer period.
We invite members of the media to join our organization, church leaders and dignitary supporters, as we gather in faith to discuss our organization and how with a little faith, we can build a home!
